If you d like to see your wireless router encryption password to test your security settings, then this CD is for you. For most people, trying to find their wireless security code is very difficult. You d have to be a real nerd to try and figure out linux commands and how to load drivers for your wireless adapter before even attempting to run the cracking program.Well this CD is for the non-nerd with easy to follow commands.
Note: To make this easy (with loading the drivers) you MUST own or buy a D-link wireless G USB Model #DWL-G122 Ver. B1. (Find some on Ebay by searching Dlink G122 or D-link G122)
All you will do to test and find your wireless encryption wep code is to:
1) Stick the D-Link USB adapter (not included) in your computer and load the CD into your computer and turn it on. Your computer will automatically boot from the CD and load the drivers for your USB wireless adapter.
2) Your computer will boot to linux desktop. But don t worry. You will just need to type two lines of commands (from my easy to follow instructions).
You will press 1 to scan for networks. 2 to choose which network to crack and number 4 to run the program. That s it!
In a short while the program gives you the 64bit or 128bit security code, you exit the CD and reboot back to normal Windows. Now you can enter the security code to access your router, and make changes to strenghten your wireless signal.
